SPEAKER: In this lesson, we'll go over invoices, which are available on talech Mobile or talech Terminal.
(DESCRIPTION)
An iPhone simulation with the talech mobile app on the homepage.
(SPEECH)
With talech invoices on Mobile or Terminal, customers can request payment quickly with a fast invoice creation system. Let's open talech and go over the creation and sending of an invoice.
(DESCRIPTION)
Opens the app. The dashboard says hi Dee and shows six options, register, menu, orders, invoices, customers, and settings.
(SPEECH)
We'll also show you the customer's experience, how they receive the invoice, and how they can pay it.
Before sending an invoice, you'll need to configure the invoice settings. From the dashboard, click on Settings, and select Invoices.
(DESCRIPTION)
Clicks on the settings icon in the lower right. A list of options appears. Towards the bottom there is the option invoices.
(SPEECH)
From here, you will see a host of different options. You can set the default payment terms, the choices being between 0 and 90 days. This is the amount of time the customer must pay the invoice once they receive it.
You can set the starting number of your invoice. The invoice number climbs sequentially with each invoice sent. To enable the option to allow customers to pay invoices online, toggle that option on. This way, they can pay online via credit card through the invoice link they get in an email.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
This is a fast and convenient way to both make and accept payments. If you do not enable this setting, the customers cannot pay online. Keep in mind, you also have the option to allow for partial payments of an invoice here, too.
You may choose when the invoice link expires, from 90 days to three years, or leave it at never. Note that if you choose a time frame instead of never, customers will not be able to pay invoices once your selected time frame has passed because the link will no longer work.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
(DESCRIPTION)
Leaves the radio button for never selected and closes the invoice expiration link sheet.
(SPEECH)
You can apply any global notes. This will appear at the bottom of any invoice sent. You may opt in to receive an email when a customer has made a payment against their invoice. You can also allow customers to make partial payments. And when this is enabled, it will allow you to select a minimum percentage or exact amount to be paid.
